What they needed

SecureFutures does a lot online. It explains its programs, recruits and trains volunteers, takes donations, and hosts an annual investment conference, across three separate websites.

They wanted faster sites, and any new design had to keep working with the services they already relied on, including the tools they use to accept donations and the learning management (LMS) plugin they use for training.

Our role

Our work with SecureFutures started with maintenance on their existing sites: plugin updates, a review of site speed, and a PHP upgrade.

From there, Solymar Digital redesigned all three sites from start to finish: the design, custom WordPress themes, and the content implementation, with Javier Centeno doing the work directly.

What we built

Three sites, each with its own job

The main site, the Money Path program site, and a smaller site for the annual conference, each designed around the people it serves.

Layout building blocks

Themes built from flexible layout building blocks that hold whatever content the team needs, so they can add and change pages without a developer.

Donations that keep working

The new sites work with the donation tools SecureFutures already uses, so supporters can keep giving the way they always have.

Volunteer resources, behind a login

Training materials and resources for volunteers, organized in one place behind a login, so volunteers can find what they need in one place.

Results

  • A redesign planned by a developer who already knew their sites and plugins from the maintenance work, so nothing had to be relearned before the build.
  • Donations and volunteer training kept working through the switch, on the services SecureFutures already relied on.
  • A team that can add and update pages across all three sites with the same flexible building blocks.

Schedule a call

Javier has been absolutely amazing to work with. He consistently delivers projects on time and provides thoughtful feedback throughout the entire process, ensuring our website not only meets but exceeds our expectations. He is incredibly flexible, highly responsive, and always quick to reply to emails and address any issues that arise. Javier is also willing to help with questions beyond day-to-day maintenance or assigned projects. We are truly grateful for our partnership with him. Our increased organizational awareness and the strength of our website would not be possible without his expertise, dedication, and reliability.
