Why stores come to us
Some stores come to us to launch or rebuild on Shopify. Others come because the platform they're on is holding them back. A custom or legacy system that's expensive to maintain. A B2B setup held together with plugins that break. A store that can't keep up as the catalog and order volume grow.
Shopify handles most of those problems on its standard plans, and Shopify Plus takes over when a store needs advanced B2B, checkout control, or more headroom. Either way, it only works if the build is planned properly. That's the part we handle.

Migrations to Shopify
Moving from a custom, legacy, or outgrown platform onto Shopify or Shopify Plus, with your data, customer accounts, and negotiated pricing intact, and redirects and metadata carried over in the cutover. This is where we do some of our most valuable work.
B2B and wholesale builds
Company profiles with multiple buyers and locations, customer-specific catalogs and price lists, volume and tiered pricing, minimum-order and quantity rules, net payment terms (Net 15/30/60/90), and a dedicated B2B checkout. All on Shopify's native B2B features, so nothing depends on fragile third-party workarounds.
Custom themes and front-end
Custom-built themes, or careful customization of an existing one, so the store looks and behaves the way your brand needs: fast, accessible, easy for your team to run, and marked up so search engines and AI assistants can read your products.
Apps and integrations
The right apps, set up properly, to connect your store to inventory, shipping, accounting, and your CRM, plus small custom apps when the app store falls short. More on custom development.
Migrations, done without the horror stories
A B2B replatform that goes wrong means a real customer can't place a reorder they need, at the pricing they're contractually expecting. We plan migrations so that never happens.

Do you only work with Shopify Plus stores?
No. We work on Shopify stores of every size, from growing brands on standard plans to Shopify Plus, where advanced B2B features, checkout customization, and higher API limits matter. We'll also tell you whether Plus is worth the cost for your store.
How do you handle our data and search traffic in a migration?
Your products, customers, orders, and pricing are mapped, moved, and tested before launch. For search, every old URL gets a redirect to its new home and your titles and metadata carry over, so search engines can follow your store to Shopify. Rankings can shift after any move, and Google has the final say, but that groundwork gives your store its best start.
Do you handle B2B and wholesale on Shopify?
Yes. We build B2B stores using Shopify's native features (company profiles, customer-specific catalogs and price lists, quantity rules, net payment terms, and a dedicated B2B checkout) rather than stitching together apps that break under load. We've launched B2B stores that use nearly all of it at once, with every company account loaded on day one.
Can you build a custom theme, or do you only customize existing ones?
Both. We build custom themes from scratch when the brand or UX calls for it, and customize existing themes when that's the faster, more sensible path, whichever fits your goals and budget.
Do you integrate Shopify with our ERP, CRM, or other systems?
Yes. For most systems there's a well-supported Shopify app that handles the connection, so we find the right one, configure it, and test it with your real data. When no app fits, we can build a small custom app for your store.
Who exactly will I be working with?
Javier, directly. Solymar is a boutique studio, so a limited number of clients get senior, hands-on attention. Businesses hire us directly; agencies hire us as a freelance partner, white-label if they prefer. Either way, there's no handoff to juniors.
