Accessibility Statement
Everyone should be able to use this site, whatever device, browser, or assistive technology they rely on. Here's how we build for that, and how to tell us when something falls short.

Our goal
Solymar Digital aims for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Accessibility work is part of what we do for clients, and we hold our own site to the same standard.
How this site is built
The site is hand-built HTML, so accessibility is part of the code itself. In practice that means:
- Pages use proper headings and landmarks, and a "Skip to main content" link, so screen readers and keyboards can move through them quickly.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, and every link, button, and control shows a clear focus outline.
- Text and controls meet WCAG AA contrast requirements.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- If you've asked your device to reduce motion, the page animations switch off and the homepage video doesn't play. When the video does play, it has a pause button.
- No content is hidden behind JavaScript. Tabs, questions and answers, and the testimonial slider all work with scripts turned off.
- Pages reflow for small screens and zoom without losing content.
The accessibility toolbar
A UserWay accessibility button appears on every page as soon as you start scrolling, tapping, or using the keyboard. It opens optional tools, like larger text, extra spacing, higher contrast, and a readable font, for visitors who find them useful. It's an extra layer of convenience on top of the site, not the way the site meets WCAG: that work is done in the code itself. If the toolbar ever gets in the way of the assistive technology you already use, please let us know.
How we check it
We review pages when they're built or changed, using automated accessibility checks along with manual testing by keyboard.
Known limitations
- Third-party tools. The UserWay toolbar is provided by UserWay, and we don't control its code.
- The booking calendar. The scheduling calendar on our Contact page is provided by Cal.com, and we don't control its code. If it gives you any trouble, email us and we'll book the call with you directly.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, email Javier Centeno at hello@solymardigital.com. Tell us the page and what happened. You'll hear back within one to two business days, and we'll work on a fix and get you what you need in the meantime.
