What they needed

Keeper Goals sells professional-grade equipment across a wide range of sports (soccer, basketball, lacrosse, baseball, and more) plus facility infrastructure and custom branding.

Their store ran on WooCommerce. Moving it to Shopify meant carrying a large catalog across without losing anything, with every product's details, specs, and pricing reorganized to fit the way Shopify works.

Our role

Solymar Digital handled the migration and the build, working directly with Keeper Goals. Their in-house designer supplied the design, and we built it into a customized version of Shopify's Dawn theme, applying the same layouts and styles to the rest of the store as needed.

Javier Centeno did the work directly, from planning the migration through launch.

What we built

Product data, moved intact

Every product migrated with its details, specs, and pricing intact, and checked after the move.

Categories rebuilt as collections

WooCommerce categories reorganized into Shopify collections, each with its own filters so buyers can narrow a big catalog quickly.

Structured product details

Custom product fields (Shopify metafields) set up for each product, so specs live in consistent places the theme can display and the filters can use.

Three levels of pricing

List, Keeper Goals Club, and dealer pricing set up in Shopify, so every kind of buyer gets the right price.

Their case studies, as structured content

A custom content type (Shopify metaobjects) for Keeper Goals' own case studies, so the team can add new ones without touching the layout.

Their designer's work, extended

The in-house design built into a customized Dawn theme, with its layouts and styles carried through to the rest of the store.

Results

  • A large catalog moved from WooCommerce to Shopify with its product data, specs, and pricing intact.
  • Collections and filters that help schools and facility managers find the right equipment quickly.
  • A store their team can keep growing, adding products, collections, and case studies without a developer.

Schedule a call

Javier Centeno recently completed building a Shopify site for our company, keepergoals.com. We could not be more pleased with his work, both the process and the final product. From the initial meeting until the launching of the site (and even afterward for minor edits), Javier has been eager to listen, hard working, willing, and able to solve every problem we brought to him, patient, calm, and kind. We can't thank him enough for all his hard work to build the site our company needs. I recommend Javier Centeno, Solymar Digital, LLC, highly and without hesitation.
