Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect very little, we use it to run the site, talk with you, and do the work, and we never sell it.

Who we are
This website is run by Solymar Digital, LLC, a web development studio based in Brookfield, Wisconsin and led by Javier Centeno. If you have any question about this policy or your information, email hello@solymardigital.com.
The short version
- We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, such as which pages people visit. It uses cookies, and you can opt out.
- We don't use advertising trackers or tracking pixels.
- The accessibility toolbar and the booking calendar, both from outside services, may also store small settings in your browser.
- We only collect what you choose to send us: an email, or the details you enter when you book a call.
- We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.
What we collect, and why
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site: which pages they view, how they arrived (for example from a search or a link), roughly where they are (city or country level), and what kind of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognize repeat visits. We look at this information in aggregate to improve the site; we don't use it to identify you.
Google processes this data on our behalf under its own privacy policy. We've turned off Google's advertising features for this site, so the data isn't used to show you ads. You can block Google Analytics with your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
When you email us
We receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We use it to reply, to scope and do the work you ask about, and to keep ordinary business records.
When you book a call
The calendar on our Contact page is provided by Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com collects your name, your email address, and any notes you add, and sends both of us a confirmation with a video call link (currently Google Meet). Cal.com handles that information under its own privacy policy. The calendar may use cookies it needs to work.
Fonts
This site uses the Montserrat typeface, loaded from Google Fonts. To send the font, Google's servers receive your IP address and basic browser information, as with any web request. Google describes how it handles this in its privacy policy.
The accessibility toolbar
Every page loads an optional accessibility toolbar from UserWay once you start using the page (scrolling, tapping, or pressing a key). UserWay's servers receive your IP address and basic browser information when the toolbar loads, and if you change a setting (like text size), the toolbar may remember it in your browser so it stays on as you move between pages. UserWay handles this under its own privacy policy.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the service that hosts this site may keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time) to keep the site running and secure. We don't use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
Links to other sites
We link to other sites, such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and the websites in our case studies. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.
How long we keep it
We keep emails and booking details for as long as we're talking or working together, and afterward for as long as we reasonably need them for business, tax, or legal records. If you'd like something deleted sooner, ask. Google Analytics data is kept for a limited period set in our account, then deleted automatically.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@solymardigital.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, the European Union, or the United Kingdom), you may have additional rights under local law. We'll honor reasonable requests wherever you are.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, and we only share it with the services named on this page, which we use to run the studio. No method of sending or storing data online is perfectly secure, but we treat your information the way we'd want ours treated.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site handles information, for example by adding a contact form or a newsletter, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
